This Privacy Policy explains what information Auto Markets (the "Service") collects and how it is used. We aim to collect as little as possible, only what a trade actually requires.
1. Information we collect
- Trade details you provide: your Minecraft username and, for selling, the Litecoin address you want to be paid to.
- Transaction data: amounts, rates, generated escrow addresses, transaction IDs, timestamps and status, so we can complete and support your trade.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic request information, used for security and rate-limiting to protect the Service from abuse.
We do not ask for and do not want your passwords, two-factor codes, or wallet seed phrases.
2. How we use it
- To execute your trade and pay out to the correct place.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and double-payments.
- To provide support, including tracing a failed transaction from its reference code.
- To keep aggregate statistics about the Service (e.g. total volume).
3. Third parties
Some data is necessarily shared with third parties to function: the Litecoin blockchain (which is public by design), blockchain data providers used to detect and broadcast transactions, and, if you contact us there, our community/support platform. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Retention
We keep trade and diagnostic records for as long as needed to operate the Service, provide support, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Some information, such as blockchain transactions, is permanent and outside our control.
5. Cookies
The Service does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It may use minimal local browser storage to remember your in-progress trade so a page refresh doesn't lose your place.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You can choose not to provide the information required for a trade, but then we won't be able to process it. For questions about your data, contact us via our support channel.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
